Sheena Easton (born Sheena Shirley Orr, 27 April 1959) is a pop singer originally from Bellshill, Scotland. Sheena became famous for being the subject of the UK TV programme "The Big Time", a late 70s reality TV series which recorded her attempts to gain a record contract. She suceeded spectacularly by having TWO singles in the UK chart at the same time in early 1980. The rest is history... Trivia: In the entire James Bond series, Sheena is the only artist seen performing a song in the title sequence, with "For Your Eyes Only".

There When I Needed You Lyrics

Sheena Easton

You're too kind, an easy touch for strangers
You take them in, salvation for the wayward souls
Losers no one wants to know, vagrant love's got a place to go

When he's down and out, that's when you're attracted
Another victory in your personal crusade
I was all used up beyond repair, you picked me up

Chorus:
You were always right there when I needed you
You were there when I needed you (brought me back)
There when I needed you (recycled me back to love)
You were there when I needed you (brought me back)

It's the same old song, your patience made me fall for the doctor
That's your sign, you knew that I would be okay (you sent me on my way)
On to your next mission somewhere, like you saved me

chorus

(Instrumental break)

On to your next mission somewhere, like you saved me

chorus

There when I needed you (recycled me back to love)
You were there when I needed you (brought me back)
